About Me

A Quick Update!

Hello everyone! Apologies, I know I haven’t blogged in a really long time; I have been really busy recently! Anyway, I thought I’d give a quick update on how I’m doing.

Well it is great to say that my skin is the best it has ever been, being 95% psoriasis-free! My confidence has returned and I’m definitely enjoying life again. My skin has been so good recently, that I even wore a dress a couple of weeks ago without feeling insecure, which is something I haven’t done in a really long time!

I hope all my fellow psoriasis warriors are doing well, and I’ll be uploading a few more posts in the upcoming weeks! xx

  1. Hi Damini,
just stumbled across your blog after seeing your item on the BBC. Great to see someone getting out and shouting about this issue. I have suffered since I was 7 now 49. I used to be plastered with it. School and being a teenager was a pretty traumatic time. I am a real worrier which does not help.
I have found that just before a flare up I get itchy, mainly in the evenings, at this point I take a look at what is going on in my life and find what is worrying me. Then I deal with it as quickly as possible!
Or I turn it around and make myself realise I am not worried about but I am exited about what is coming up.(Good for when you cannot change something). This has been working now for quiet a few years.
Things get better when you settle down with someone as well. I have found that It has effected my career as well, I have had to follow a career that is less stressful. This I am finding however that I can over come with experience and self confidence.
    Best wishes.
